In 1985, a group of Tuscaloosa physicians opened the Tuscaloosa Surgical Center. They started with a mission to provide the community with an alternative to hospital-based outpatient surgery. They envisioned a state-of-the-art, convenient facility with warm and friendly service.
Moving forward through thirty-two years and over 250,000 surgical cases, the Surgical Center continues to deliver on the original vision of our founders. Our facility is committed to offering high quality safe and personalized same-day outpatient surgery in the specialties of ENT, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Pain Management, Gastroenterology, Plastic Surgery, GYN, Retina Surgery and Oral Surgery. The Surgical Center provides personal care that makes a difference – one patient at a time.
